Centralex exchange will be unavailable for a 24-hour period starting from 9 AM GMT+3 on Thursday, 29 July 2021.

Main purpose of the downtime

We are currently hosted on a European hosting provider. Over time, we have noticed that performance is lagging behind our expectations. We have therefore decided to change providers and will be migrating all our instances to AWS in order to improve response times and lower latency for the benefit of our users.

How will this affect me?

All exchange services will be unavailable during the scheduled maintenance period. Please rest assured that all your funds will remain completely safe during this outage. We are using #Fireblocks — with their battle-tested, state-of-the-art wallet technology — as our custodial wallet provider to safeguard all your assets.

What can we expect after the maintenance is finished?

In addition to improved response times thanks to the transition to AWS, there are a number of exchange upgrades that will go live after the scheduled maintenance is complete:

  • A bold, new exchange design,
  • Full activation of our staking portal,
  • The addition of the first of a series of new trading pairs complete with liquidity and active market making.
